I've searched the internet for info on him but,All I've read about him were movies he was in as a child and the Freddie movie.

Does anyone know what has happened to him ever since then?

It has taken me until just recently to figure out who Ira reminds me of--certainly not Freddie, but now I realize he looks just like the guy I dated for 4 years in high school and part of college, and became engaged to on prom night!!! OMG!!! This is not a compliment to Ira, mind you LOL!!! :lol:

Actually he looks like a Tony Orlando wanna be. LOL! The only cute pic I ever saw of him was the shirtless one where he's trying to be like Freddie...

True,He doesn't look EXACTLY like Freddie but to a certain extent,He does. :)

Speaking of Ira,I'm very happy to announce that I won his clippings on Ebay yesterday!!! YIPPIE!! :happyface:

I actually went thru some old scrap books last nite and found clippings of Freddie I didnt know I still had AND an 8 x 10 black and white glossy of Freddie in that black shirt with the silver studs. I'm gonna try to see if I can get it scanned and post it somewhere so all of you can see it. He was sooooo cute!

Ira may have been the closest thing for the movie, but nobody is as gorgeous as Freddie was! It wasn't the hair and the mustache that made him gorgeous, it was those eyes!!!!!!!!!! :eyes2:

By the way,your book should be arriving in your mailbox any day now.I don't know why it's taking so long but,I'm thinking that the Anthrax scare may be the reason(More than likely it is).I also hope that I don't have any problems as far as Ira's clipping are concerned because the seller still has yet to receive my payment for it. I remember Cheryl' s situation with the item that she won on Ebay and the payment took so long to get to the seller.I'm so worried now. :(

Not only that,it's amazing to know that Ira is actually mexican.I always thought that he was Puerto Rican but maybe that was because he was portraying Freddie.

We'd love to see scans of all your pics of him...

Chicos Tools - I am waiting patiently..... and once again, let thank you very much. I will let you know when it arrives. Its probably more the Christmas rush that has slowed the mail. Its always a little slower this time of year. But, lets try to be positive....maybe I'll get it today! :)

I got my copy of Can You Hear The Laughter this weekend. I cryed my eyes out. Ira does resemble Freddie in the end.... and I have to say he definately had the way he said "Looooking Gooood" down perfectly. To be honest, I dont know if I will watch it again tho. It is heart breaking. I have heard a lot of people say that he was not portrayed as a very nice person, but I didnt think he was made to look all that bad. Lets remember he was just a kid in over his head, all alone. Certainly no one could blame him if he did over-react to some situations as portrayed in the movie. And, drugs certainly do a number on a person so......what can you say. We know that deep down inside he must have been a loving soul. Ira definately portrayed that side of him as well...... the way he looked at Rosie said it all.

I agree with ya Tylers mistress. I cried my eyes out too watching it., It was sooo sad. H wasn't made out to be too bad until they got to the pills & drugs stuff & then it go to be so bad & sad. It had me going thru the hankys. Like you I don't intend to watch it anytime soon or too much cuz it was sooo sad. Ira did a good job in it but he was no Freddie. There is only one Prinze...
