Former "Miami Vice" and "Nash Bridges" star Don Johnson is jumping back into the television medium with a comedy pilot for ABC called "Southern Discomfort," reports The Futon Critic.

Oscar-winner Mary Steenburgen is also in the show, playing his wife. The plot revolves around Johnson's character, a conservative, whose life is turned to chaos when his grown children move home.
