I remember watching the sitcom Maude when it first aired. I loved watching Maude, it doesn't air where I live anymore. Maude used to air on Nick-at-Nite for a very short time, but it was canceled. Does anyone else remember watching Maude when it first very aired in the 1970s? I sure do!!!! Feel free to email me, okay!!!! I also remember watching The Incredible Hulk from 1977 through 1982, Starsky & Hutch from 1974 through 1979, reruns of The Twilight Zone, reruns of The Wild, Wild West from 1965 through 1969, Green Acres, Beverly Hillbillies, and etc.. Did anyone else watch these television series???? Or how about One Step Beyond, Thriller, Suspense, and Night Gallery.

Actually Maude has never been on Nick at Nite on a regular basis. However, it has been on TV Land since August 1998 but in October of this year, TV Land took it off and has only shown a couple episodes since then. They showed a handful for the We Love New York Fandemonium and 1 episode for the TV Land to Go this past weekend.

Look for the first episode, Maude's Problem to air on New Year's Day.

I had never seen Maude before until it came to TV Land and I immediatly liked it. It's one of my favorite Norman Lear sitcoms.

Texas Girlfriend, you are still young at 29, I was born in 1963. I remember watching Maude during primetime on Network television. Can you remember what Maude would say to Stanley, when he got her angry?

"God will get you for that Stanley."

I watched all of those series you mentioned except One step Beyond. Believe it or not I can remember when Andy Griffith was first syndicated during the late 60s. But those series you mentioned were classics, but here are some more for you: The Mod Squad, The Rookies, Adam 12, Star Trek, Baretta, Mannix. What a great decade it was for telivision in the 70s, although Star Trek actually began it's run in the mid sixties, however it ended in 1970. What about the Twilight Zone, that show used to scare me a little when I was a kid. We also had a show called Chiller Theater which would feature scary movies on late Friday Night. If anyone asks you the best decade for telivision, tell them the 70s, because it had everything imaginable, from comedy to crime drama to suspense thrillers.
