I am really getting back into the whole MTM universe & I think I read somewhere that "several" cast members died during the show's two season run. Is that true?

I know that Barbara Colby who played Julie Erskine was murdered after appearing in the first three episodes of the series and that Judith Lowery who played Mother Dexter died part way through the second season.

I don't know about that but I do know that many viewers passed on watching this show. Especially in the second season.

The Barbara Colby murder was a tragedy,the death of the elderly cast members was sad but well,part of life really.
I think putting Phyllis in that office setting and the overdoze of uninteresting characters in season2 put the real curse on the show.
