Veteran actress Doris Roberts has signed to star in an upcoming Hallmark Channel movie.

The film is a sequel to the network's 2009 hit Debbie Macomber’s Mrs. Miracle, says The Hollywood Reporter

Roberts will reprise the role of Mrs. Merkle in Call Me Mrs. Miracle.

The follow-up will feature the Everybody Loves Raymond star lifting the spirits of people she meets working at a department store during Christmas.

Both pictures are based on books by Macomber
