Singer/actress Miley Cyrus is planning to take a hiatus from her music career following the release of her next album - because she's lacking inspiration.

The Hannah Montana star is currently recording her third studio album, slated for release later this year.

But the 17 year old is looking forward to putting the brakes on her pop music career so she can rediscover herself as an artist.

She tells America's Teen Vogue magazine, "The more I make music that doesn't truly inspire me, the more I feel like I'm blending in with everyone else. So after this next album, I'm taking some time off."

Lacking inspiration...that never stopped her before. But yes, I agree. Feel free to take a LOT of time off.

Yeah, I don't get it. I thought she was an actress playing Hannah Montana and because of that, she started releasing real albums. Now she wants to halt her singing career because of lack of inpsiration? What was her inspiration in the first place?

Ohhhh, not a good idea, Miley. Her popularity is already slowly but surely decreasing...it's best to make as much $$$ as possible before the kiddies grow up.
