Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub) was a stellar police detective until the death of his wife left him an obsessive-compulsive wreck.

The eighth and final season of the mystery-comedy follows Monk as he puts his brain to work as a private consultant -- albeit one with a few quirks.
