Mystery Man 04-21-2010, 06:24 PM http://www.unsolved.com/images/cases/wan_cowboy_boot_bandit1.jpg JimmyHendricks 04-24-2010, 11:21 AM The mustache that the Dennis DePue actor had during the update about his high speed chase and suicide, when he saw his own segment on TV and had his girlfriend make him sandwiches in the kitchen. EPIC MUSTACHE, mainly because there was no reason for them to give him one, other than to show how he was "on the run" and such. The Dutchman 04-25-2010, 07:10 PM Regarding UM mustaches: -Kudos on Alex Cooper's daughter. No offense to her, but I'm glad I wasn't the only person who noticed that. -Gabriel Carriello (during the Kurt McFall story). That, and his hair is too much. -Canadian Prospector Who Went Missing Story: Remember at the end where the re-enactment has the actor with this really curled up mustache at a fancy restaurant? -Sammy Wheeler: I forget his name, but whoever kept accusing Bob Bean had a mustache. -George Marsh: The story of the elderly man who died with no heirs. sdb4884 04-26-2010, 01:03 AM Regarding UM mustaches: -Kudos on Alex Cooper's daughter. I also remember him from the Diabolical minds segment sdb4884 08-10-2010, 05:34 AM Good work fellas  sdb4884 08-27-2010, 01:49 PM John Kelly from the Nevada Wild Horses segment has an impressive Mo, no picture but looking for one. justins5256 08-27-2010, 02:10 PM I think it's a safe assumption that Crystaldawn has not even clicked on this thread. :D sdb4884 04-10-2011, 07:33 AM Paul Pollis had a Moustache from memory. Jon 07-15-2011, 09:32 AM This is the funniest thread I have found on this site. Alex Cooper's daughter   ^^^ This! I read the thread title and burst out laughing. UMfan77 09-16-2011, 08:37 AM I'm voting for Oliver Munson's colleague Patrick Cisna :talk: I could hardly understand him, talking through that thick mo. RobinW 09-16-2011, 12:19 PM I also find it interesting that the majority of the guilty-looking suspects interviewed on UM had mustaches. Off the top of my head: -Paul Pollis -Chad Noe -Mark Nichols -Larry Gibson -Stephen Marfeo -Tim McClure -Donovan Jacobs -Leonard Rizzo -Don Sherman -Steve Page -Rob Page (not interviewed, but the actor in the re-enactment had a mustache) Also, Mike Morris had a mustache in his old photos, but shaved it off for his UM interview, no doubt in attempt to sway everyone towards his innocence. Coincidence? TheCars1986 09-16-2011, 01:51 PM Coincidence? I've noticed that too. Any time a POI or a suspect was interviewed on UM I had a very simple formula to determine their guilt or innocence. Moustache = Murderer. WishfulDreamer 09-16-2011, 04:46 PM Tony Alamo had one in earlier pictures. abigail7881 09-18-2011, 07:04 PM I can't think of the case, but it was the couple who dated probably in the 70's and had a baby. The actor that played the guy when it happened was a blonde, and with his long-ish hairstyle and moustache, I thought it was great. The couple broke up, gave the daughter up for adoption, and then 20 or so years later, got back together and married. The guy now, I think, has gone a bit thin on his hair but I thought the actor's moustache was fantastic. Does anyone else remember this or know who I'm talking about? I can't remember the names. I remember this. I've actually seen it a few times recently. I know the guy's name is David, and man, did he ever rock a set of Daisy Dukes. I don't remember the woman or the child's name, but they did get reunited. UMfan77 09-20-2011, 12:46 PM I remember this. I've actually seen it a few times recently. I know the guy's name is David, and man, did he ever rock a set of Daisy Dukes. I don't remember the woman or the child's name, but they did get reunited. The mother's name was Christie Wismer and the child's name was Katie. Yeah, the actor that played "David" was, uh, different. He also had that long straggly hair to go with his long straggly mustache. greatgarrett2 09-22-2011, 12:21 AM I have to go with Mark Nichols. sdb4884 02-24-2014, 02:25 AM http://www.unsolved.com/images/cases/mur_terri_mcclure3.jpg Tim had one too. MegtheEgg86 02-24-2014, 02:38 AM John Kelly from the Nevada Wild Horses segment has an impressive Mo, no picture but looking for one. I definitely think this is the best one. He put wax on the ends of his so that it looked they stood straight out on each side like this: http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lkogf50sdf1qz9w7vo1_500.png Mystery Man 02-24-2014, 07:50 PM Leonard Dirickson, who was mentioned in the first post of this thread. That thing is a beast. TheCars1986 02-25-2014, 12:28 PM Bill Wacker had a pretty good one in the picture they showed of him and Dorothy in their segment. sdb4884 05-09-2016, 10:12 AM http://s20.postimg.org/y4md0wc2l/vlcsnap_2016_05_09_22h06m38s579.png Awsi Dooger 05-09-2016, 03:04 PM I also find it interesting that the majority of the guilty-looking suspects interviewed on UM had mustaches. Hardly a coincidence. The best mustache is no mustache. I guarantee if you removed the mustaches from every one of those guys, the impression of them would be slightly more favorable, particularly from women. Not everybody would benefit but many would, and I doubt the impression of any of them would be worse. Jimmy the Greek Snyder was among the first to detect the anti-mustache bias. He polled hundreds of women in Steubenville, Ohio regarding their opinion of mustaches. When the tally reach 5-1 against, and a frequent addendum was women telling him they didn't fully trust men who wore mustaches, Jimmy the Greek realized that Thomas Dewey was in big trouble against Harry Truman in the 1948 general election, despite huge odds favoring Dewey. Snyder collected a massive payout, with some reports claiming he received as high as 17/1 odds on Dewey, although I'm somewhat skeptical a presidential election could carry that type of odds disparity. Perhaps from a dunce bookie. In the past two decades I've applied the same theory and won several political wagers, often at generous odds. A Colorado senate race comes to mind. Tom Strickland refused to shave until it was too late. I remember a Strickland supporter contacting me via private message on a political forum after I posted a thread using the mustache theme. She said she had never heard of the Jimmy the Greek angle but that the topic came up several times at Strickland functions, with women working on the campaign convinced Strickland would win if he would simply lose the darn mustache. I always have to laugh when I watch a court proceeding and somebody is being represented by a lawyer sporting a mustache. Poor defendant. Sure there are exceptions. Nothing is 100%. Johnnie Cochran wore a mustache and that Simpson jury was predominantly women. Overall it is more likely to forfeit a vital few percent benefit of a doubt. The double dunce whammy is a defendant wearing a mustache defended by a similarly hairy lipped attorney. But I have a hard time thinking there's a better one than that. Judyhymesisalive 05-11-2016, 07:10 PM Tim McClure had a good one sdb4884 05-17-2019, 02:10 AM https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/unsolvedmysteries/images/3/33/Jerry_moss.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20180703172535 Jerry Moss, fair play.
