I'm hoping someone can help me.
I am trying to locate the name of a British actor that appeared on a US sitcom, I *think* it might have been Married with Children or a show in a similar vein. He was a guest actor, not a main character. The actor I am thinking of has curly brown hair and I seem to recall he was wearing a black suit. In the situation I recall he was trying to get to know one of the main female leads at a dinner party perhaps attempting to use his British-ness as a strong point and was rebuffed soundly, which seemed to throw him quite off his game. He's kind of funny looking, with a quirky smile. It is not Nigel Wick I am thinking of.
He would have appeared in this sitcom episode anywhere between 1990 and 2010; as TV does not list episode names and seasons it's impossible for me to say what year/season he guested.
I know this is not much to go on, but I glimpsed this actor briefly and fell in love with him, and would like to see more of what work he's done. I would be profoundly grateful to anyone whom thinks they might know who I'm talking about and could offer up a name.
