Michael J. Fox Joining Curb Your Enthusiasm
"Larry David has let slip that Michael J. Fox will guest star in the upcoming eighth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Fox, best known for his roles in Back to the Future and the sitcom Family Ties, has been largely absent from the spotlight since he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. In recent years he's appeared in Scrubs , Boston Legal and Rescue Me , with the latter role earning him an Emmy Award in 2009 for best guest actor in a drama.
David, the creator and star of Curb Your Enthusiasm , revealed Fox's guest spot in an interview with the Washington Post — but he didn't say anything else about Fox's role, or give away more details about the cult comedy's next season.
"The only thing I can tell you is that we're going to be filming five episodes in New York," he said. There's also a chance that Ricky Gervais might guest star. "I would love to have him on, and I'm going to see if there's anything that's right for him this year," David told AskMen.com. Curb Your Enthusiasm airs on the Comedy Channel.
