I've been a fan of Ed Asner for as long as I can remember. I became an even bigger fan a few years ago when I got a chance to meet him. He's a terrific guy and a great sport. And of course tremendously talented. I wish him the very best.

I'm sorry I missed seeing the show, now. I completely forgot about "Up".
We had company, but I really didn't feel like watching it. Busy.

But I'm *so* happy "Up" won an Oscar! That's awesome!
And glad for Mr. Asner, too. :D

Lots of celebrities from "the old days" were there, but he was the only one I was really interested in meeting that day. And it was a treat!

I was glad that Up won. I was rooting for it, even though I haven't seen it. :)
