I would like to know how many people do not like this station and how many people do like it. I myself think it stinks. I mean how many episodes of baywatch and star trek can we take. They took off wkrp and all those other great shows and show crap, they do show the waltons though thats pretty good. I would rather watch the old stuff like nashville now and all that other stuff than wrestling and robot wars !!:eek2:

I wish they would bring back The Wonder Years, regardless of the show being on ABC Family. Other classics I wish were back on TNN are: Newhart andWKRP in Cincinnatti. They could also add Here's Lucy in the schedule too.

I never watch this network anymore. If they would bring back Alice and Dallas then I would tune in. However, now everytime I look, Star Trek related stuff is on either Star Trek: the Next Generation or some Star Trek movie. It's bad enough Nick at Nite turned into the Cheers Network now we have to deal with a Star Trek network as well.

I signed your petitionTJ. I was so annoyed by TNN's 'increstations' that I now simply avoid that station altogether, I got lucky in a way, it all started about the same time that they stopped showing "Starky & Hutch", this was the series that got me attracted to this network in the first place.

Although they appeared to be the most 'guilty'of this relatively new practice of annoying the hell out of their viewers they're certainly not alone, eg. "James Bond" films and the ABC network and their crappy logo simply don't play well together. This network went as far as to alter a scene from one of these films, they actually managed to add underwear on a woman. For that reason and others I stopped watching most movies on all major U.S. networks as well.

Good Luck on your petition.

P.S. While channel surfing, I noticed that the "Waltons" is still presented on TNN totally 'increstation' free, that also includes their dreaded logo.

The Waltons isn't on TNN any more, and hasn't been for quite some time. You must be thinking about TV Land which airs it now.

TJ, I checked it out with the TV Guide, the Waltons will be playing at 1:00 am from Monday-Thursday. You'll noticed that it's presented totally free of any crap whatsoever. I'm guesing here, maybe it has to do with a licensing agreement of somekind.

According to TVGuide as of 10:15PM ET on 8/10/02 "The Waltons" are NOT airing on TNN! (The National Network). It currently airs at 1PM Weekdays on TV Land.

You may be confusing TV Land and TNN, because TNN has the black bar and other annoying features. and TV Land has a small network bug, and nothing else.

I hope that this clears up your issue, and have a fantastic weekend!

Stephen, there's no mistake regarding the Waltons, I saw them just this last week again on TNN and I don't even subscribe to TV Land. The only mistake I made in my last reply was referring to TV Guide, the TV magazine I was referring to is called "TV Times", published weekly by the Southam Publication Inc., A Can West Co. (Canada)

*raises hand* I don't like TNN! I only watch wrestling & that's only because it's on TNN.

I'd like to throw in my vote for Classic TV on TNN instead of what they have now.

"The National Network"... :barf:

Give me the old "Nashville Network" & reruns of "Nashville Now" & "Crook & Chase" anyday! :guitar:

I can't stand TNN, I think they should put Dukes of Hazzard back on. I believe that was their biggest mistake. TNN needs
better shows on or at least a few more shows on their line-up.

Does TNN still have the rights to the Dukes of Hazzard? If I do believe right,
we can blame the TNN schedule on the
current president of TNN, at least that's
who I thought it was. I'm not sure when Dukes of Hazzard was taken off but before the show was axed, TNN brought in some new worker or new president(not sure which one) and changed everything and now the station is horrible, JMO!!! I agree it was much better when it was The Nashville Network.

The only thing TNN has going for it right now is "Star Trek The Next Generation." And since TNN will be showing Deep Space Nine, and Voyager reruns in the coming years, TNN will be a paradise for Trek fans like me...

I never really liked Tnn. I only watch it for the A-Team. I'm not a James bond or strek trek Fan.
