Bill Murray's never been keen to do ''Ghostbusters 3''. That we know. We also know, based on how hard it would've been to get Murray to agree to be in it, he'll likely have the smallest role of any returning cast member in the recently announced ''Ghostbusters 3''.

For those that have been keeping up, it was recently revealed - by co-star Sigourney Weaver; later confirmed by Murray - that Murray's character Peter Venkman would be a 'ghost' in the new sequel, thus eliminating much screen time for Oscar Winner Murray.

Thing is, seems Murray's still not that keen on doing the flick - despite it likely being a week's worth for $15 million bucks, telling David Letterman this week that "it's my nightmare" that a "Ghostbusters 3" comes to fruition (they have a script, but in Hollywood, that means jack!).

He wishes he was an Oscar winner. So many people who write articles need to do their homework first.

Why bother? If you can't get Murray back for a bigger role, scrap the sequel. For me his character was part of what made the first two what they were.

That's like trying to make a sequel to The Blues Brothers without John Belushi....oh wait...
