Does anybody on SO have AmericanLife TV Network or FamilyNet? I was checking out both network's schedules and while they aren't 24/7 classic tv networks, they do show some classics like Happy Days, My Three Sons and Hill Street Blues.

I have both through Sky Angel's IPTV service but Familynet will soon be dropping the comedies from their schedule and adding other shows such as Trapper John M.D. Pavan blogged about that but darn it I can't find the link right now.

Ah. Well then FamilyNet needs to update their website, because it it still showing sitcoms such as "Family Ties", "Happy Days" and "My Three Sons" as airing on their network.

I was able to get ALN when I switched to Verizon FiOS last month (I switched from Cox Digital Cable). I'm very happy with FiOS (my sister still has Cox DC and she noticed a big difference in picture quality at my house with FiOS - we both have the same TVs, also - whichwebought a few months ago).

Back to ALN - I record "Phyllis" and "Rhoda" each weekday morning. The editing is horrible - to make way for three commercials: "FinallyFast.com", "Angels Among Us" and "Sue something FBEye".

If only they kept the shows intact and dropped these over-long commercials for such nonsense.
