One of the finest female vocalists of all time, Karen Carpenter, would've have celebrated the big 6-0 had she lived (she was born March 2, 1950). God bless you, Karen - the world has never stopped missing you since you left us that sad day in early 1983. Thank goodness your brother Richard has made sure your legacy lives on - and that so many of your wonderful songs are still available for generations to enjoy.

Karen Left us way to soon but at least she left behind a beautiful musical legacy for us to remember her by. At least that's some consolation. Happy Birthday Karen!
