Ryan O'Neal slammed Kate Jackson's claim that he blocked her from seeing the late Farrah Fawcett during the final months of her life when she was dying of cancer. The actresses were co-stars on the longrunning TV series Charlie's Angels.

O'Neal told RadarOnline the claims were 'not true'. Fawcett died on June 25 last year after a long battle with cancer.

He said: 'Firstly, Farrah spent the last week of her life in the hospital. Secondly, why would Kate be denied access to Farrah and then be invited to her services?'

Jackson said that O'Neal and Fawcett's best friend, Alana Stewart-Hamilton, denied her access to Fawcett. She also claimed to be concerned Fawcett was forced against her will to sign a document handing over control of the harrowing documentary she made about her journey with cancer.

Jackson, 61, said she last saw Fawcett at a gathering held in February 2009 for Fawcett's 62nd birthday.

Meanwhile, O'Neal's representative, Arnold Robinson, said: 'Mr O'Neal's only wishes are for Farrah to rest in peace and for her contributions and legacy to be remembered by the millions who loved her.'

Well now, if the allegation is true, then Kate would be getting a taste of her own medicine if she purposely kept Cheryl Ladd from appearing at the "Angels Tribute to Aaron Spelling". I don't know if any of this is concrete though.

I don't know if it's concrete either, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's true.

Yeah, and after she excluded Cheryl at the Aaron Spelling tribute, she snubs The TV Land Awards's, honoring Charlie's Angels, when Cheryl WAS included. Kate is my least favorite angel!

I just don't understand Kate. Why would she a hold a grudge against a person for over 30 years? Why is she so passionate, that she can't even be onstage with Cheryl for less than 10 minutes? I don't get it. :(

I don't know - she got along fine with Jaclyn, Farrah, David and John. Plus Cheryl being there SAVED the show, and thus everyone's job. But I guess it's something only Kate could tell you.

That's true, Monika.

But if I were Kate, I would be grateful to Cheryl. Or at the very least, indifferent or casual to her. I certainly would not passionately dislike her. I could understand if Cheryl broke up her marriage or made her lose her job. To be honest, actually, I could understand it better if Kate held a grudge against Farrah for leaving the show. However, ironically, she has always adored Farrah. Even Farrah (from an interview and from the "Charlie's Angels: Behind the Camera) thought that Kate and Jaclyn would hate her. She stated that "shockingly" they still were excited to see her come back for her guest star episodes, and that their bond/friendship was still intact.

btw -- On that same interview, Farrah Fawcett even stated that she was glad that America liked/embraced Cheryl Ladd, (which Farrah stated was a credit to Cheryl), because she was glad that the show could go on for her friends (Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith). That way, she didn't have to feel guilty about leaving the show after only one year.

Even Farrah sounds thankful/appreciative to Cheryl.

I've always been a Kate Jackson fan but I don't know what she has against Cheryl. I guess it's only something that the two of them would know. It's been 30 years though and I'm going to say the same thing that I've said about Joyce DeWitt on the Three's Company board. Life is too short to hold grudges like that. Cheryl was a very important part of Charlie's Angels and she should be treated as such.

In the Charlie's Angels Casebook, Jaclyn Smith even commented on the tension:

"There were problems with Kate and Cheryl right away. I don't know what started it, but it was uncomfortable for me, because I was in the middle and I liked both of them."

Cheryl doesn't elaborate herself on the problems between her and Kate - and Kate wasn't even interviewed for the book. Neither was Farrah. (The book was published in 2000.) I suspect Kate and Farrah were approached to participate and turned the offer down. Everyone else in the cast were interviewed in the book - Jackie, Cheryl, Shelley Hack, Tanya Roberts, David Doyle, and John Forsythe.

I really need to buy the book. It sounds very interesting.

Kate Jackson? Ryan O'neal? Who knows whom to believe. Both of them have questionable credibility.

Good point - but I think I'd take Kate's word over his. Then again, I could be wrong.
