I guess what I mean is, this show keeps getting renewed despite lackluster ratings, etc...

I wouldn't say lackluster ratings (certainly not in Til Death's category), but CBS has never made an effort to give this show a full season order......which means it will take forever to reach syndication at this rate.

Ratings have never been mediocre (except the one week it aired on Wednesday, when its ratings were awful). I'm not sure if it's the lead-in support that gives ROE high ratings or the fact that people actually anticipate this show's return. I guess we'll find out after Monday.

Season 1 - 12.4
Season 2 - 10.9
Season 3 - 11.4

I wouldn't call that lackluster. When it had its special Wednesday airing on May 13th, it did fall into the 6 million viewer range and below a 2.0 demo.

The show has always had the help of Two and a Half Men, and it'll be interesting to see how it does upon return. I definitely think it'll do better than Accidently on Purpose. The show has never had a chance to grow, and if it happens to do better than "Purpose" upon return, CBS should gladly give it a full season order for next season. With this show returning, I won't have to turn the channel from 8:30-9. With this show returning, CBS easily has the best sitcom line-up of the week.

This show (even in quality) cannot be compared to the poorly written 'Til Death.
