The Skye's The Limit
Break out the confetti at the Quartermaine mansion! A GENERAL HOSPITAL rep confirms that Robin Christopher will be returning to the fold as Skye on March 31. Alan's adopted daughter (who is, of course, also one of ALL MY CHILDREN's Chandlers) left town in January of 2008 with her daughter, Lila Rae.

Great news... she's such a fantastic actress. Now that All My Children films in LA, perhaps she can crossover again on that show as well! :)

I agree! I'm *still* mad that she lost the Emmy to Vanessa Marcil in 2003. Vanessa was only on for 6 months when she won, while Robin did incredible work that entire year.

I had stopped watching GH by that point, but I remember thinking her win was such a set-up, since it was big news that she had returned to the show.

Agreed. It just seemed like such a publicity stunt. Plus, Robin had such meatier material to work with - tricky stuff. She deserved that Emmy and it was stolen right out from under her.

It's also always seemed so unfair to me that the win is based on ONE scene. They can have months of incredible work, but it all comes down to one scene to determine if they get the win.

Agreed. The Emmy system (for BOTH daytime and primetime) is seriously flawed. ohno:

I was so hoping she would return to all my children....It's time for Skye to come home....She didn't go home for Uncle Stuart funeral...

Well, since both shows are taped in LA now, I'm sure she easily can go back and forth between shows. Speaking of Skye, whatever happened to the other actress who played her in the 90s, Carrie Genzel?
