Chikezie Eze, an American Idol finalist from season seven, was released from jail early Friday, just hours after he was arrested at a Neiman Marcus store in Beverly Hills, California in connection with felony identity theft charges, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Police said Eze, 24, was held by store security until they arrived. Eze was arrested at 10:09 p.m. Thursday after he was accused of attempting to use "fraudulent means" to pay for his purchases, police told RadarOnline.com.
He was held overnight before posting $50,000 bond Friday morning.
