In The Slaughter Affiar from Season 2, Mary goes over to the Slaughter house to convince Marie (Murray's wife) that her and Murray are not having an affair. The beginning of the scene:

(Doorbell Rings)

Marie [picks up toys and turns at the sound of the doorbell]: "Oh, just a minute!"

She turns around and walks to the door, answering it.

Mary: "Hi, Marie."
Marie: "Hello, Mary. Uh, come on in. I've, kinda been expecting you."

* * *
I don't know exactly how to word this so you guys don't think I'm weird, but, why do you think she was expecting Mary to come over? Or what did Marie think would happen when Marydid? This making any sense?

This came to my mind recently, and I just thought I'd post about it here. :)
Just curious of what each member here thought.

Yes I think Marie had got into her head,Murray and Mary were having an affair and that Mary would be to decent to not come clean.
I think Joyce Bulifant is as cute as a button,Murray can annoy me at times,he has three daughters(takes two to make a baby)mooans about lack of money then adopts a boy(which is a very sweet thing to do)and then in season6,decided hes in love with Mary.
Gavin MacLeod had a difficult job,although Murray was very nice a lot of the time,this storyline of him being tempted to have affairs could have made the character very unlikeable but Gavin carried it through.
I remember Joyce in "Big John,Little John" with the kid who played David Baxter,thats coming out on DVD soon.
