They're off to a terrible start, IMHO. We were chatting about it at work today and they were all saying that, with a few exceptions, both nights were just bland. For the ladies, the only ones who stood out for me were Paige, Janelle, and Katie. Most everyone else sounded the same. I thought Haeley, Lacey, and Crystal were the worst of the group.

The Guys were a little better. I loved Aaron, Toddrick, Lee, Casey, Joe, and Michael. Alex and Andrew sounded awful. I thought the rest just made poor song choices.

My predictions for tonight: Haeley and Lacey for the ladies. Jermaine and Alex for the guys.

I wish they would drop the gender quota and just vote off the 4 lowest vote-getters.

My predictions were totally off. Janelle, Ashley, Joe, and Tyler went home. I can't believe it! ticked: Janelle was one of the only ladies the other night who was really good. Ashley's performance wasn't great, but better than several other girls still standing there. Joe and Tyler both had potential.

The guys night last Wednesday totally bored the heck out of me. The only two guys who I thought gave a remotely decent performance that night were Lee DeWyze and Casey James. The girls' night was the better one, though. I even voted for Katie Stevens and got through to her line four times.
