Partridge Family and Brady Bunch are no big deal (especially the Bradys), but I really really want to see the EIE and 227 people. We never get to see what those casts look like today.

Well Susan said she was contacted and told the appearance has been canceled.

Well, as Jude mentioned - Susan Olsen herself has confirmed it on her Facebook page (this was about an hour ago):

"Fortunately I got the news before leaving to buy snow shoes; the Today Show has been cancelled."

And surprise, surprise - when asked why:

"I would imagine it is due to some women being difficult. Anyway I have to go get my son now and tell him he's not going and that he won't be missing school next week. TO be honest the gig itself was a little lame but taking my boy to NYC was going to be good. Oh well."

I love love loved the Eight is Enough and 227 segments. I love it when we see these casts from shows that aren't always reunited get back together because they usually really are happy to be back together and to talk about their shows. The 227 people were awesome.

The are some other Today Show reunions available to watch. After I watched the one for Eight is Enough, I also saw reunions for Murphy Brown, Newhart, and Knots Landing. I've got to go back and watch the 227 segment.

They really are. I have no doubt that Alaina Reed Hall would've been there had she lived and was healthy. You could definitely tell how much her castmates loved her.
