We never get to see what those casts look like today. comedyfreak 02-26-2010, 09:25 AM I'll be setting my dvr don't want to miss this one. catlover79 02-26-2010, 05:38 PM Update!! Notice an omission here? http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/35582259/ns/today-today_entertainment/ Pavan 02-26-2010, 06:51 PM It's not an update, the Brady's are still appearing. That story just omitted it. catlover79 02-26-2010, 07:28 PM It's not an update, the Brady's are still appearing. That story just omitted it. Oh, good. Thanks for confirming, Pav. Wonder why it was omitted? Marvo301 02-26-2010, 07:32 PM Oh, good. Thanks for confirming, Pav. Wonder why it was omitted? Because Brady fans are so loyal they don't need to be reminded of when the Bunch is on TV! Either that or this is just another in very long line of mistakes by NBC. catlover79 02-26-2010, 07:34 PM Because Brady fans are so loyal they don't need to be reminded of when the Bunch is on TV! Either that or this is just another in very long line of mistakes by NBC. NBC - making a mistake? Surely you jest! :eek2: :faint:  Jude The Obscure 02-26-2010, 08:04 PM Well Susan said she was contacted and told the appearance has been canceled. catlover79 02-26-2010, 08:06 PM Well, as Jude mentioned - Susan Olsen herself has confirmed it on her Facebook page (this was about an hour ago): "Fortunately I got the news before leaving to buy snow shoes; the Today Show has been cancelled." And surprise, surprise - when asked why: "I would imagine it is due to some women being difficult. Anyway I have to go get my son now and tell him he's not going and that he won't be missing school next week. TO be honest the gig itself was a little lame but taking my boy to NYC was going to be good. Oh well." Marvo301 02-26-2010, 08:11 PM "It is due to some women being difficult". Well besides Susan the only women scheduled to appear were Eve and Maureen. Gee, I wonder who she could possibly be referring to? Jude The Obscure 02-26-2010, 08:14 PM ^ :brent I made that exact comment to Susan on Facebook  catlover79 02-26-2010, 08:17 PM "It is due to some women being difficult". Well besides Susan the only women scheduled to appear were Eve and Maureen. Gee, I wonder who she could possibly be referring to? Because they can't resolve their issues enough to appear in one little segment together - everyone loses, especially the fans. Grow up, you two!! You're in your 50s now, for Pete's sake. Mike and Carol would be so ashamed of you!! ohno:   catlover79 02-26-2010, 08:18 PM ^ :brent I made that exact comment to Susan on Facebook  I saw that. Great minds think alike!! McGillicuddy 02-26-2010, 09:39 PM My guess is Eve backed out when she heard Maureen was replacing Florence! I was afraid this would happen. Pavan 02-26-2010, 10:27 PM Interesting, NBC is not replying. catlover79 02-26-2010, 10:31 PM Interesting, NBC is not replying. Now there's a shock! ohno: Jude The Obscure 02-27-2010, 09:59 PM And The Love to Love You Bradys page is also confirming the cancellation. JT 03-03-2010, 03:33 PM I love love loved the Eight is Enough and 227 segments. I love it when we see these casts from shows that aren't always reunited get back together because they usually really are happy to be back together and to talk about their shows. The 227 people were awesome. McGillicuddy 03-03-2010, 07:57 PM The are some other Today Show reunions available to watch. After I watched the one for Eight is Enough, I also saw reunions for Murphy Brown, Newhart, and Knots Landing. I've got to go back and watch the 227 segment. Pavan 03-03-2010, 09:19 PM Those other reunions are from years past. catlover79 03-03-2010, 09:23 PM Those other reunions are from years past. Yeah, those were from 2008, I believe. Jude The Obscure 03-04-2010, 12:28 AM the 227 reunion really rocked!! TVFactFan 03-04-2010, 12:36 AM the 227 reunion really rocked!! I thought the 227 reunion was on Thursday? Marvo301 03-04-2010, 12:44 AM I thought the 227 reunion was on Thursday? They moved it up one day due to the cancellation of the Brady Bunch reunion originally scheduled for Wednesday. catlover79 03-04-2010, 02:20 AM I thought the 227 reunion was on Thursday? Here's the reunion, Sol - it's great!! http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/26184891/vp/35660224#35686048 catlover79 03-04-2010, 02:22 AM I love love loved the Eight is Enough and 227 segments. I love it when we see these casts from shows that aren't always reunited get back together because they usually really are happy to be back together and to talk about their shows. The 227 people were awesome. They really are. I have no doubt that Alaina Reed Hall would've been there had she lived and was healthy. You could definitely tell how much her castmates loved her. |
