The celebrity book website I follow has them both listed in the "coming soon..." section.

Do you think they will go on signing tours?

I would imagine so. Alison, for sure, I can see going out on a book tour. Melissa Gilbert did when her book came out. What bums me out is that a lot of these signing tours never seem to come to Northeast Ohio - at least the people I like. :( Keep me posted, James!

From what I gather is that the publishing company handles the book tours as part of the book's promotion.

The celebrity (author) may have some say in where they go but it really is up to the publisher on where they will send them for the signings with the celeb's availability.

Ohio is not really a "hot-spot" for this... they mostly want LA, NY, FL, NV... the "big-shots".

Unless the person is popular in Ohio or the book relates to it in someway... I haven't seen many signings go to Ohio myself.

Both books sound intriguing! Two different points of view on the Little House experience from two different cast members. And Melissa Anderson is very beautiful! She's aged like a fine wine.

I read MA's book, and while good it wasn't very meaty - not much substance. To be fair, though, it wasn't meant to be an autobiography - so details on her personal life (at least until after she left LHOP) are sparse.

Alison's book is by far one of the most interesting, absorbing celeb autobiographies I've read in a long time. What a life she has led - she is really a survivor!! :D
