This just in: Jim Belushi is getting serious.
In one of the more unusual casting decisions of pilot season, CBS has tapped the According to Jim frontman to headline the prospective legal drama The Defenders.
The project, which counts CSI’s Carol Mendelsohn among its exec producers, centers on two charismatic and fiery Las Vegas defense attorneys who go to the mat for their clients.
Belushi plays Nick, a larger-than-life lawyer who fights for the little guy.
