Wow, they managed to get most of the cast involved. They're only missing Susan Richardson and Adam Rich. Hopefully they'll share some memories of Lani O'Grady during the interview.

It was great seeing the cast of eight is enough on the today show. They still look the same but just older looking. I wish they would put this show on DVD.

Everyone looks great - and Willie looks a LOT better since he cut his hair and shaved off the beard. Grant's barely aged at all (and he's about to become a GRANDFATHER!) - same goes for Dianne and Connie. Adam Rich had sent a letter, and Diana Hyland and Lani were mentioned in passing. The only one who wasn't mentioned at all was Susan.

I thought it was funny when Dick said they didn't want to use his real life sister(Joyce Van Patten)as his sister on the show because they didn't think she looked enough like his sister:lol:

I had to laugh at that, too. Hilarious!

I enjoyed watching the reunion and everyone looked good. The only thing that bothered me is that as soon as Meredith Viera got Lani's name out of her mouth she immediately changed the subject (saying she didn't want to dwell on it) and didn't give the cast a chance to say anything about Lani. That just didn't seem right to me.

I noticed that too, but wondered if maybe the cast didn't want to discuss it. It would be difficult for them to discuss that they were doing drugs on the set and in the next breath talk about Lani's drug overdose.

I did enjoy the interview though. It was nice to see them all together again.

The last time I saw an interview with Susan Richardson was years ago. She was living on a farm in Amish country and had given up acting for the simpler things in life. Like I said...that was years ago. I wonder what she is up to now? Odd that they didn't mention her.

You have a good point Billie. The cast probably didn't want to talk about it especially given the preceeding conversation.

You're welcome! I'd love to see the show again in its entirety (haven't seen it since I was a kid in the mid-80s). I think I read that Connie is still wearing a wig due to her chemo - not that it takes away from her looking great!

OH Nuts!
