I agree with everyone else Alan Reed is the man.

Bill Hanna said it best: "[Alan] Reed tours the country in a leopard skin. He
is Fred Flintstone." In fact, it was Reed who created the phrase "Yabba-Dabba-Do." The word in the script was "wahoo," and he
ad-libbed "yabba-dabba-do!" The rest is history.

Henry Corden took over after Alan Reed died in 1977. I never watched many of the cartoons that he did.

He did the original 1960-1966 ABC Series and then he played Fred in all the Saturday morning spin-offs they had up until 1977.

Alan Reed. He created the voice and fans will always remember him as Fred Flintstone.

Alan Reed all the way. Henry Corden was good at voicing Pa Rugg on The Hillbilly Bears. I never could get use to Mr. Corden's Fred Flintstone.

Alan Reed was fantastic. I can't say enough about how much I enjoy his work as Fred.
Corden was a decent voice artist with other characters, but should never have been given the role of Fred.
They should have just quit making Flintstones-related shows after Mr. Reed could not continue in the role.

Treky learned this in 2010, me 11 years later.

For me there is only one, Reed.

According to a recent METV article, Cordon was already filling in for Reed during the original show run when Fred was required to sing.
