This lady was a legend. She was one of the most beautiful and talented stars of all time. It seems so strange to think of her no longer being around - she was the last surviving star of Anchors Aweigh, Kiss Me Kate, Show Boat... (okay, Marge Champion is still around, but you know what I mean).
In terms of the old Hollywood superstars, I think Esther Williams, Debbie Reynolds, Jane Powell, and Elizabeth Taylor might be the last ones left from the golden age of MGM :(

This is getting scary. I'm really trying to think of who else is left from the old MGM days, and all I'm coming up with is Mickey Rooney and Leslie Caron.
June Allyson, Ann Miller, Cyd Charisse, Peter Lawford, Judy Garland, Grace Kelly, Van Johnson, Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, Howard Keel, Ava Gardner, Frank Sinatra... they're all gone now. :crying:
