Robert Mandan (best known for Soap and Three's A Crowd) got his big break on Search For Tomorrow. His Soap co-star, Donnelly Rhodes, was also on The Young & The Restless. Daniel Hugh-Kelly from Ryan's Hope went onto the short-lived sitcom I Married Dora. The late Larry Haines (also from Search for Tomorrow) was a regular on the brief sitcom Phyl & Mikhy.

lisa robin kelly of that 70s show also at one time played jill stevens on days of our lives

Steve Burton of General Hospital got his big break on Out of This World.

John Loprieno is the name of the actor who played Cord on OLTL. Joel Higgins got his big break on Search for Tomorrow (as Bruce Carson), and of course went on to play Edward Stratton on Silver Spoons. His on-screen wife on SFT, Anne Wyndham, also played Barney's daughter in several episodes of Barney Miller. Barney himself, Hal Linden, also did a short stint on SFT back in the 60s, and later did a brief turn on The Bold & The Beautiful in 2006.

Speaking of Barney Miller, Barbara Barrie (Elizabeth Miller) appeared for a short time on another defunct soap, Love Of Life. Abe Vigoda did a stint on Dark Shadows. Max Gail did a couple of episodes of DAYS in early 2007. Gregory Sierra (:eyes:) appeared on an episode of Falcon Crest in the late 80s.

Marcia Wallace (The Bob Newhart Show, The Simpsons) and David Leisure (Empty Nest) played deranged spouses on Y&R back in late 2008. David Leisure also played the preacher in a Vegas wedding chapel on General Hospital in 2002.

Actually, you have the right network (NBC), wrong show. Kelsey played the short-term role of a doctor on Another World back in the mid-80s.

Famously Jack Wanger (Frisco, GH, Nick, B&B) was on "Melrose Place" as Dr. Peter Burns from 1994-1999. This show also had Rena Sofer (Ex-Lois, GH) on it as well as former Loving star Linden Ashby. Jamie Luner, now playing Liza on AMC was also a co-star on that show.
