So the unthinkable has finally happened. I am burnt out on Led Zepplin's "Stairway to Heaven" I love the song and never thought it would happen but the guy in the room next to me plays it about 5 times a night and in the dorm the walls are so thin I can always hear everything. A sad day in music has finally come, I'm tired of hearing one of my favorite Zepplin songs. :(

That's really sad. Too bad you have to suffer by having to listen to anything your neighbor is playing. I hate being able to hear things in the next room, which is why I hated living in apartments. Dorms too for that matter. Hopefully your neighbor will tire of it and you can enjoy it again!

I kind of did the same thing to myself with Owl City's Fireflies. Once I discovered it, I was completely hooked and listened to it over and over. I mean that song was in my head day and night to the point where it got ridiculous; especially since I didn't know all the words at that point and now I do. I got the CD for Christmas and I do listen to it a lot, but the song has lost a bit of it's magic; that feeling you get when you hear it.

Hopefully the magic of Stairway to Heaven will return for you as well! I love that song!

Bummer!

As much as it might hurt ya, I'd go out and find an ABBA or The Bay City Rollers CD and play it right back at him every time he fires up Stairway. Betchya it won't take long to stop!

Tell him to play Achilles Last Stand, you'll never tire of that.

Thin walls work both ways so play this parody by Little Roger and the Goosebumps as loud as you can.
