When the new NBC game show "Minute to Win It" premieres March 14, the network will present a double dose of the game, running it from 7-9 p.m, NBC announced today.
Food Network star Guy Fieri is the host of the new show, in which 10 contestants are challenged to do normal task while the clock is running, with the goal of ultimately conquering all the challenges to win the $1 million prize.

...convincing the Winter Olympics officials in Vancouver to create a "special event" in conjunction with "MINUTE TO WIN IT", but they probably said, "Don't press your luck...." ;)
I have a strong feeling this new series will be as successful as "HOWIE DO IT" was last year at this time {"Wasn't Howie Mandel doing anything else besides 'DEAL OR NO DEAL' last year?"/"No, I don't think so..."}. The last time NBC tried "double-dosing" a new reality series on its premiere was "THANK GOD YOU'RE HERE!" in 2007. And, honestly, who remembers that one?
