Does anyone know who in Hollywood were Ozzie and Harriet's friends?

I never see any mention of them being good friends with other celebrities. Did they keep mainly to themselves?

I read one place that the Nelsons real neighbors were named Thornberry, which is why he named the shows neighbors that, and he asked if it was okay if they used the name, but that they didn't even really know the neighbor.

I remember that in the A&E Biography on the Nelsons, Art Linkletter said that he used to go to dinner at their house. I've also read that Fred MacMurray dined at their house, and that Jimmie Haskell (Ricky's record producer) and his wife used to go to the Nelsons' house on Camino Palmero Street in Hollywood for Easter and Christmas, and to their Laguna Beach house for the 4th of July. Jimmie said that he continued to visit Harriet in Laguna occasionally even after Rick died. Also, I've read and heard that Ginger Rogers and Harriet were friends going back to the 1930s.

I also heard that Andy Devine was a friend of the Nelsons as was Red Skeleton whose radio show they were on. There is an episode of the Red Skeleton TV show where O&H were guests.

They were good friends with Tom and Elyse Harmon, too.

Seen pictures of them with Walt Disney, but don't know how close they were.
