Her legs were once insured for $1million but 30 years on from her role in Dukes of Hazzard, Catherine Bach prefers to keep them covered.
The 55-year-old, who played Daisy Duke in the popular series, instead opts for more functional sweatpants to walk the dog in Los Angeles.
Bach became a pin-up after starring in the 1979 TV series Dukes Of Hazzard, thrilling a generation of male viewers with her denim hotpants and slender legs.
Opting for comfort: Catherine Bach, who starred as Daisy Duke in the Dukes of Hazzard in the Seventies, opts for comfy gear instead of her trademark hotpants

She left the show when it ended in 1985 and she went on to star in African Skies, a Canadian television series about post-Apartheid South Africa.
Bach, who married her second husband Peter Lopez in 1990, was out walking her dogs with her 11-year-old daughter Laura in her hometown.

Now a mother of two and approaching her 56th birthday, it is no wonder that she is opting for comfy clothes and has a curvier figure.
Last year she hit out gossip columns which poked fun at her replacement as Daisy Duke piling on the pounds.

Jessica Simpson, 29, gained 10lb and hit headlines for becoming curvier.
Bach said: 'I think it's a shame that Jessica has been viciously attacked for superficial reasons.
'It sends a bad message to our young girls that in order to fit in, you have to be skinny and your outfits better make you look skinny, too.

'What I hope my daughters are learning from me is to respect themselves, honour their bodies, and show compassion and kindness towards others

As beautiful as Catherine Bach was on Dukes (and still is!) she always even more beautiful on the inside. And her comments here show that inner beauty hasn't faded at all. I really admire Catherine.

I agree!! She has always come across as such a sweetie, inside and out. No wonder Enos and so many other fellows were head over heels for her!!

It's a terrible message to send out to girls about being thin. Wow, back in high school, I always thought I was fat, but I would kill to be that size now. Sad, isn't it? I think Catherine looks great and she doesn't have to prove that to anyone but herself! I have to wonder what people who are calling these actresses fat look like. They must be skin and bones!

Exactly! So what if Catherine isn't the same shape as she was back in the Dukes days - but that's what happens when women bear children. Besides, she looks happy and healthy - that's the most important thing!!

Me too. :D

I think she looks great today, too. She always struck me as someone who is so nice and so accommodating to her fans.
