Courtney Love is over the death of husband Kurt Cobain, and says his 1994 suicide is just ''the way it goes''.

Courtney Love is over the death of Kurt Cobain.

The Hole singer - currently about to make a comeback with new album 'Nobody's Daughter' - has spoken bluntly about the death of her Nirvana rocker husband, who committed suicide in 1994.

She told Spin magazine: "I married a guy, he killed himself, I inherited everything. That's the way it goes."

Courtney, 45, is currently embroiled in a custody battle over her 17-year-old daughter with Kurt, Frances Bean, who is living with her grandmother Wendy O'Connor and the rocker's sister Kimberly Dawn Cobain after Frances took out a restraining order against her mother. Courtney - who has been known to have drug problems in the past - said of the case: "Those snarly-a*s O'Connors want cheques. I'm through supporting their a**es."

Yesterday (11.02.10), a Los Angeles judge extended a custody order restricting Courtney's access to her daughter to remain in effect until another review in April. The original order was issued last December.

As well as the battle for her daughter, Courtney is also beset by financial problems, and last year claimed Kurt's $750 million legacy had been stolen from her.

The 'Celebrity Skin' singer claimed $45 million in cash and $705 million worth of other assets have gone missing after thieves set up bank accounts and made property deals in her name.

In a further blow, she also missed her first comeback show last night. The singer had been due to perform a solo set at the Proud Galleries venue in Camden, north London, but was held up in traffic in a different part of the city, when police raided a home near to wear she is staying.

A disappointed fan told BANG Showbiz: "This was a big night, I was really looking forward to seeing Courtney, but she's always been an unreliable rock star. We're partying here anyway. I still can't wait for her comeback."

Hole will play London's Shepherd's Bush Empire on February 17.

This pretty much proves everything everyone's believed about her:

GOLD-DIGGER.

So there seems to be a little more to the theory that Courtney might have had Kurt killed to collect on his wealth?

What do you expect from a drugged-up nothing like her?!

Yes, she inherited everything, including Curt's songs, which she passed off as her own. Why do you think she hasn't put out anything of worth since that first song she sang, not long after Curt died.

Kurt Cobain wrote all of the songs for Nirvana which means he owns them or at least his estate does now. And in the music business song ownership is where the big money is. That's why Michael Jackson purchased the Beatles catalogue.

When she did that movie "The People Vs Larry Flint" (Hope thats the right one), I thought maybe she was redeeming herself, because she looked "normal", but I guess not. Sounds to me like they were having major problems before he died. She's not emotional at all. I know it's been over 15 years, but wouldn't you still have a thread of emotion if your husband took his own life?
