Billboard.com just released the "Top 50 Sexiest Songs Of All Time." The criteria? The subject matter of each song had to be directly related to sex.

The list ranks the 50 most popular songs about sex, as based on each song's performance on the Billboard Hot 100 chart from August 4, 1958, (the inception of the Hot 100 chart) through the Jan. 16, 2010, issue.

I love ONJ but I beg to differ with "Physical" being on a list of sexy songs. I'm surprised nothing by Donny Hathaway made the list!

I can't find much of anything here I'd place on a list of the Top Ten sexiest songs of all time. Maybe Marvin Gaye, but.... Olivia Newton-John's "Physical" being #1?? :confused: Yeah, it's sexy, but I would not put it as the sexiest.

Or stuff by Barry White. Or "Big Bottom" by Spinal Tap. :lol:

I think some of her other songs, like Soul Kiss and Totally Hot, are sexier than Physical. Physical just reminds me of aerobics, headbands and leg warmers!!

Also you could go back and check out some of those R&B tunes from the late 40' to the mid 50's and hear a lot of tunes about sex. Like "Shake Rattle and Roll" by Joe Turner "Long Tall Sally" by Little Richard or one of my faves "Baby Let Me Bang Your Box" by the Pinetoppers. :happyface
