Hey, I was just wondering. How do you generate responses to your threads when your write them? I written a few posts this last month and only 1 or 2 got answered. I wonder how come nobody is responding to my threads?

It seems annoying to post threads and not get any responses it's just like being ignored. When your talking to someone in person and the don't answer you they're ignoring you or what ever.

I think I was serious about not coming around anymore because my threads never seem to generate any responses. I have one of the ILL section from yesterday as well as a few on the General section. So, I was wondering. How do I get people to reply to my threads? When I said it's annoying write threads and not get any responses I didn't mean that to be rude I was just making a statement.

Some TV shows just don't seem to generate a lot of action around here unfortunately. Don't give up. I'm sure you'll get some responses :) It is a discouraging feeling when there's something you really want to talk about, but no one appears interested.

Okay, I won't. I guess I Love Lucy isn't quite as populer now as it used to be. Course it isn't even shown on TV anymore. Atleast not in my area. They don't ever show The Lucy Show or Here's Lucy on television anymore and the only way you can watch these shows now are DVDs. Thanks.

Don't give up on your threads just yet. Sometimes it takes weeks or even months for a thread to "take off". Of course some threads never take off. And there really isn't much you can do about it. (Short of bumping your thread up to the top every day in hopes it will get noticed)

give it time and keep posting.

I'm sorry that you're not getting responses to your posts. It can be very frustrating. I don't know if you already have, but I've found that it's best to quote other people. When you're friendly with people, they tend to reciprocate. Good luck. Post here on Chit Chat. You'll get replies. :)

Yes, I Love Lucy certainly is still on TV!! Like you said, not where you live but where I live and a few other places I've been at. In fact, the Hallmark Channel showed a ILL marathon last weekend!!

Sorry to say, but you can't expect every thread to be answered. I know how you feel though!!

But like everybody else said, just give it time. The responses will come.

Hang in there. Someone like me will come along years later and bump it up. Of course it would be pretty funny if this got no further responses.
