I believe this show is based on a real person/couple so the age difference is not totally unbelievable.

I don't know how old Jenna's character is meant to be but Jenna herself is 38.

I know she's just 38. She's playing a woman who's going to be an older mom; a woman who most probably wouldn't have been able to have had kids otherwise.

I just don't think the age difference is real - I guess it's because she herself never had a child before. I just can't imagine being involved with someone my son's age.

Actually Jenna herself does have a child. Her and Bhodi Elfman's son Story Elias was born on July 23, 2007. And their second chil id due in March.

They mentioned on the show that she's 37 and he's 22, so it's a 15-year age difference.
