There is this guy on another forum who has constantly made serial killing threats, has actually stalked posters on the phone, and has made child molesting references. Should I contact the authorities? He posts on terpcenter.com and he goes by the name of CurtKeats, formerly known as OralTerpitude.

I seriously think this guy is dangerous and I want to know which authorities I should contact.

Well, if he is threatening you, you should contact your local police. If you know where this poster is from, contact his local police. Maybe consider contacting the FBI or your state Attorney General's office or U.S. Attorney's office?

What this guy is doing is terroristic threats. Internet or no internet it is illegal. I think people think they can do crap like this on here and it is not a crime. Anyway, if you want to send me a PM I will try to help you get the addresses and phone numbers.

He hasnt threatened me personally, but he has stalked several posters over the phone. This guy is a real, real creep. At this point Id love to get his real name and do a criminal search.

Well, what IS amazing to me is that he hasnt been perma banned from the forum. Apparently he might be friends with one of the mods there. Its just so weird. There is a 99 percent chance he has a criminal record I feel.

Also another real strange thing about the guy is that he deletes half his posts. And some of the time its just ordinary run of the mill stuff. Just real weird

Have you contacted the web forum administrator at all? If he/she can see his IP, they could provide some information to the police.

Just a question, how many people has he stalked via phone? Any website would provide information to the authorities if a weirdo was actually stalking other forum members.

How is he getting all this info about these people, Their real names, place of employment etc...? I can't believe that they'd actually be dumb enough to reveal personal information about themselves to a total stranger on a message board. If he's actually doing this then what's to stop him from going to their homes or workplace? What you're saying may be true but something about all this just doesn't sound right.

It's only stupid if your profile is public, but who knows if Facebook will make private profiles public again with their next site overhaul.

Personally I'm skeptical of this, but what the heck....

1. Contact the administrator and wait to get an answer
2. Copy every post to you in question to the word file and save it.
3. If the administrator refuses to ban or take action, call the site service provider and report the forum to them and make a request that legal action be taken.
4. If nothing happens then, go to your local FBI website and see if you can contact the Cybercrimes department and CLEARLY detail your situation. Wait for the message and proceed from there.

1. Are you still on this website? I would assume you've deleted your profile or changed the information.
2. Has he provided any specific information. Has he contacted you via phone or email or letter?
3. Are there any specifics in terms of threats. actual peoples names listed. Any specific places or cities listed in the threats. Any specific murders he references?

Why have those people not called the police? Making threats on the phone is a criminal offense. He could be arrested right then and there. His number and address should be easy to find by the police.
