...we're now the worst Winter City in the Nation!

(Cleveland) – According to Forbes Magazine, Cleveland is the worst winter weather city in the 48 contiguous states. The business publication analyzed national climate data in making its conclusion.

Due to cold winters, and mild summers, Cleveland’s average annual temperature is only 50 degrees, just a little bit warmer than Minneapolis which is much farther north.

In fact, Cleveland’s average annual temperature is 10 degrees below the 50 city average.

Forbes reports the second worst winter city is Boston, followed by New York, Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Columbus, Detroit, and Baltimore.

I used to live in Buffalo.

I think people want to make Cleveland the Mistake-on-the-Lake as long as Cleveland exists.

I spend a lot of time in Rochester, New York and I'll tell you the snow is worse, but they know how to handle it up there. Driving through Ohio and Indiana in the winter scares the heck out of me. The roads aren't as good in the winter months. Actually, I'd say Akron was the worst of last year.
