Janice 02-07-2010, 05:05 PM Sorry, I know the feeling all too well. A little snow is nice, but when two feet blanket your entire life, it's crazy. I've never understood adults who love that much snow. The shoveling, dangerous driving, dangerous walking, dangerous everything, what's so great about that? People die in these storms with heart attacks and accidents. Stay safe bandito. Mr. Television 02-07-2010, 05:35 PM Sonny, are you in central pa? South central. I'm on the PA-MD border. I can get out because our lanlord shoveled our steps and the sidewalk in front of our apt.-he and our neighbors know how important that is for my brother and me-but snow is piled up alongside the street and I'm going to have to cancel my P.T. on tuesday. I hope I won't have to cancel it again on thursday since they're calling for more snow on wednesday; because like I've said before exercise is important for me. Schmoopie 02-08-2010, 12:35 AM We had barely a dusting in the middle of last month but for the most part, we've had a really warm winter. Like night and day compared to last year when we got 14 inches of snow around Christmas time. Mr. Television 02-10-2010, 08:25 AM How is everyone doing today? It started snowing yesterday morning here and it's supposed to snow all day again. They're saying we're going to have blizzard type conditions this afternoon... HuntingtonM15 02-10-2010, 05:44 PM I am in shock that my school actually closed today. In the past, they have NEVER closed for this amount of snow. Meade 02-10-2010, 05:49 PM Not exactly snowed in- but we got another 4 inches in Richmond, VA today. Here in Virginia we're not used to this kinda long winter snow. Most winters we go without snow. And the DC area is certainly not used to deep snows like this either. I dont know how people in colder climates handle it . MickeyMac 02-10-2010, 07:22 PM We did get a snowstorm here.
