Quite a few bits in this one.

Tiger is mentioned twice by Greg and Mike though he is not seen.

We learn that Jan has dance lessons and Marcia has music lessons (could be the other way around).

Mike bumps into the boys as it looks like they are coming out from that mysterious room(?) behind the staircase at the bottom.

The scene straight after the one above is set in the kitchen and despite mike leaving the other scene to head to the kitchen there is about a 20 second delay and we never see the boys pass by in the background as they head off to school.

I cannot believe that Mike allows Cindy to smack a smouldering toaster with a spoon  .

Carol appears in one scene only as she is looking after her Aunt Mary. During this scene in which Mike talks with Carol on the phone Jan's line of "I won't live that long" is looped over and over in the background noise.

As the above scene disolves into the next one it looks like for reasons of time that a scene was trimmed before the episode originally aired. After putting the phone down you can make out Mike poking Greg quite harshly and Greg reaches up with both hands to grab Mikes arm. Perhaps the producers thought it looked too violent.

At the end of act 1 as Alice says "I think I'll be able to water them myself" a boom shadow is seen at the top right hand corner of the screen and across Mikes face as the camera moves in for a close up on Alice.

The view outside of Alices bedroom has changed. In 'Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore' we can see how Alices room connects with the laundry room. In this episode there is a flat wall with a sink and a cupboard. I think this was the same view used an episode back as well.

There is a unique camera angle during the scene where the kids take the laundry upstairs. The camera is situated at the other side of the staircase looking through the stairs across the living room.

When Alice trips over the hoover at the close of the episode I think she was faking it :p .

Great eye, Bachu! You really spotted a lot of interesting things in this episode. You are right, three views of the house were different: the view through Alice's bedroom door, the one from the other side of the stairs, and that mysterious room/hallway in the corner behind the stairs. There's even a picture on the wall!

At breakfast: check out the orange juice scene. First Mike is about to sip it, then after the cut the glass is down by his chest. When Jan complains about all the dishes at breakfast, the sink is loaded. Then when Mike goes in the kitchen there are fewer dishes. Try to hover over a toaster like Cindy does, your face would melt off! You're also right here, Bachu, Mike doesn't even care that little Cindy is working the toaster. There doesn't seem to be any concern about the girls going to school, and they are dressed in their playclothes.

Dinner: When Mike goes to put the lamb chops in the oven he flings the dishtowel at Cindy. Look at her reaction. What's in the other pot? We know Marcia ruined the peas, Jan ruined the potatoes and Cindy mangled the salad (watch how she crumples the lettuce like paper). Jan turns the (hot?) pot with her bare hand and takes it to the sink. When Cindy knocks the salad off the counter the other pot is back on the stove. Then it is in Jan's hands again when for some reason she brings it to Mike while he's on the phone. Mike raises his hand like he is going to smack Jan and Marcia. I never noticed the audio loop of Jan's whining voice, good catch!

The boom shadow across Mike's face is as obvious as a total eclipse of the sun! How could they leave that in?!

One thing that is pretty real, though, was how Alice's ankle looks wrapped in the ace bandage. The makeup department did a good job on that!

Mike does seem happy to just let the kids fend for themselves.

I did notice Mike chuck the tea towel at Cindy for the first time ever when I watched this yesterday and thought it was quite funny. It's the kinda stuff I do to my neice.

I always think, in terms on continuity, that scenes with people eating must be a nightmare to film what levels of drinks in glasses changing from shot to shot extra.

And yes, they did a good make up job with Alices ankle.

As I watch my R1 dvds I have been taking some captures from my R2 dvds as i really love the Brady house and wanted some snap shots.

Nice photos, Bachu. We can see that Alice had different furniture but her lamps were the same. A painting was moved to a different wall. In the top photo it seems the dresser is in front of where the closet door was in the "Big Sprain."

The wash basin keeps moving around the laundry room/service porch!
