Veteran actress Shirley MacLaine has blasted movie marketing bosses for failing to include her in promotional posters for new film Valentine's Day.

Early prints of flyers for the movie featured a series of pictures of the cast - but MacLaine and her co-star Hector Elizondo were not included.

A second design was then drawn up which included the pair - and MacLaine is baffled why they were left off the original.

She tells Dutch TV network RTL Boulevard, "We both complained. We don't know why we're not on it, frankly... I have no idea. I think its age discrimination. I really do. Marketing runs the town. I think its p**sed!"

Is she in the trailer?
I've seen it a bunch of times on TV and I can't remember if she was shown.

After looking at the poster again, I have to ask...

Who isn't in this movie?

;)

I've seen the trailer, and both Shirley and Hector were included. I don't blame Shirley for being upset at the snub...

Kathy Bates isn't on that one, either.

They're obviously marketing this movie to a young audience. That's why the older actors aren't on the poster.

I've seen some here in NYC where she was on the poster, as well as Hector Elizondo who is older.

OUCH!!

I love ensemble movies like this, but I'm gonna wait for the DVD! Looking at the ad, I have to agree that it's definitely focusing on the younger cast members. Kind of tacky to not even include Shirley and Kathy, because that might draw in some older fans as well.
