I remember watching an episode from a sitcom, which I guess is from the 90's. It looked very like Friends. All I remember is that a young guy was sitting on something like a wardrobe/cupboard. The strange thing was that the wardrobe was blocking the way into the room. I mean, it was blocking entrance to the room, but the wardrobe/cupboard was short enough, so that the guy to be able to climb over and enter the room. So he was just standing there saying that the room was of his grandma. I got the feeling that they were going to repaint and repair the room. And he said something like 'I never knew that grandma had so many .... (I don't remember clearly)' I guess it was something about photos or something he found in the room. And that's all remember. Does it ring some bells to anyone?

No, sorry! I wish I could add more info. But it was most definitely a 90's or early 00's sitcom.

That sounds to me like the episode of "Friends" called "The one where nana dies" in which Ross and Monica are cleaning out Nana's closet and there is a big armour in the closet that Ross has to crawl behind and he finds a lot of Nana's sweet and low and other things she had stored.
