Nick Jonas visited Jimmy Kimmel Wednesday night to talk about the ensemble rerecording of 'We Are the World' to raise money for Haiti.

Jonas said the producers wanted Lil Wayne to sing the solo originally sung by Bob Dylan. "He said, 'I can't sing,'" Jonas said. "And I'm like, 'exactly. Perfect.'"

"Nick Jonas says Bob Dylan can't sing," Kimmel laughed.

Jonas was given the Billy Joel part but he said he only wishes he could pick up the phone and call the piano man.

The charity anthem was originally recorded 25 years ago, written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and produced by Quincy Jones.

Bob Dylan's music has endured for over 4 decades now and will continue to do so. Will anyone remember the Jonas Brothers in 40 years? I don't think so, either.

That's the equivalent of Shaun Cassidy saying, circa 1977, that Johnny Cash couldn't sing. Of course, Shaun NEVER said any such thing, but you get the idea. Where IS Shaun these days? Where is Nick Jonas going to end up, three years from now?

Is this supposed to be something we don't know? Bob Dylan is one of the greatest lyricists in the history of music, but I think it's quite well known that he's not exactly the best vocalist. But the Jonas Brothers don't have vocal or writing skills, so...
