Oh no ! LOL IM totally new at this and I ment to put his pic by my name like Cheryl and Luckymama did

I am in a TOWER RECRODS book store on one of those I-OPENER things where you can do the internet without a puter. (We had to go to the big city for Mike to get his flu shot so our treat is shoppin at a mall here.) Seeing that pic is makin me get HOT... OOOOOOO-WEEEEE.... :) I have a copy of that pic & Luckymama's & boy are they cute! :)

Anyway to do a pic next to your name you have to go to your preferences & maybe the CP thingy & upload from there. Good luck! You did show us that you can do a ppicture in your posts on the new boards like you could on the old ones. :)

Can't wait to see what other Freddie pics folks put on here. :)


BTW-- Figured you'd want to know that the links to the boards on the fron page don't work anymore. To get here I had to go thru my bookmarks on YAHOO...

Lady Loves Freddie, the function you want is called avatar. You need to go into user cp and then edit options and at the bottom you add the avatar. It must be no bigger than 125X125 pixals and it must be a jpg or gif file. If you need help let me know! :wave:

Just curious to know... Is there a way to set up the messages where the newest messages in a thread come up at the top so I don't have to scroll thru stuff I've already read?

And also is there a way to view all the active topics for just one board where you'd view just the active topics for only one board like say CHICO & THE MAN instead of viewing all active topics from all boards? Just wondering cuz if those features are available I'd love to use them. :) Peace! :)

Yes, the first option is possible but I would have to do it with all boards and if I took a poll I think the majority would prefer it that I keep the way it is set up. I think it would confuse people to read the messages in reverse order if you know what I mean. You would be reading the messages out of sequence.

If you hit that blue down arrow button that will automatically jump to your last unread post, so that is what I think you are looking for.

The 2nd feature might be available, I will have to look into it.

Just do a test run to see how my pic looks...

Thanks for the info! :) The reason I asked was that on my friend Arlo the singers message boards it has where you could choose between either having the newest messages come up at the top or or leaving it with the old messages at the top of a thread. They use over there the UBB boards that ya'll used to use so that's why I wondered. Looks like these boards have more features. I know message boards & esp when a new system is implemented can be confusing.

On Arlos site they used to have easy to read unthreaded boards just go on down the boards new messages at the top & away we go as Jackie Gleason used to say. Just several differnet boards like on on Arlo, one for people to joke around on & make friends on, one on puters etc. After the unthreaded were replaced by threaded UBB ones folks including me had trouble adjusting. So thanks to Arlo, I know how to do baords like this. :)

That blue arrow thing to click to go to the first unread message works great! I'll be using that! That's a big help! :)

I know it takes alot of work to run a big site like & we appreciate all the hard work behind it. On a few of the boards on here like the CATM & FACTS OF LIFE boards they are become little communites or families of their own. I appreciate the our little Freddie family here. It's so nice to get together with other folks who love him too! & Ya'll have helped me love him more. :)

I agree,I like the new board also.It makes it easy for us to use the features. :)

Thanks for making it eaier to put images on here! With the old way of having to upload them to a website & then copy code to get them to show was so much harder. This is so much easier. Thanks!
