does anyone remeber the monkees did this specail on tv a long time ago! i think it was in the 90s i can't remeber the exact year though! i have it on video but i'm hopeing to get it downloaded or something so if anyone know what i'm talking about! then send me a line!

I remember it! It was called "Hey, Hey It's the Monkees" and it aired in February 1997. It was a special that coinsided with the Monkees' reunion tour and the release of their album "Justus." The special was supposed to be just like another episode of the series, only 30 years later. I think I was most surprised that Mike Nesmith appeared in it. When I went to the reunion concert, he failed to appear as usual.

Yes I remember the special and it is quite a rarity, since it was never officially released and only aired once on ABC.....I just transferred my original VHS in SP speed to DVD...the best part was the end when they performed all their hits. I'm really surprised this never got an official release.

I also have it on VHS. It was a cool show and great to see all four guys not
only playing and singing together but also acting together again. Micky,
Davy, Mike and Peter were a great group. They could still rock in the '90s.
In fact, Justus is my favorite Monkees album.

oh man! i would like to do that but i don't have any idea how to do it besides i don't have anything to "copy it" on to! i tried looking for it online but....nothing yet!
