DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THE MORGANS?

LOS ANGELES — "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" made a fortune. "Land of the Lost" tanked.

Both films are equal earners at the Razzies, though, grabbing seven nominations each on Monday, including worst picture of 2009 and worst-acting slots for Will Ferrell and Megan Fox.

Other worst-picture nominees: Sandra Bullock's romance "All About Steve," the action tale "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" and the Robin Williams-John Travolta comedy "Old Dogs."

Bullock earned a worst-actress nomination for "All About Steve." She's expected to score an Academy Award nomination Tuesday for her hit drama "The Blind Side."

"She could be the first person ever to win a Razzie and an Oscar in the same weekend," said John Wilson, founder of the Golden Raspberry Awards, now in their 30th year of singling out Hollywood's low points. Winners will be announced March 6, the night before the Oscars.

Razzie voters also are making worst-of-the-decade picks. The worst-picture nominees are Travolta's "Battlefield Earth," Tom Green's "Freddy Got Fingered," Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's "Gigli," Lindsay Lohan's "I Know Who Killed Me" and Madonna's "Swept Away."

Affleck and Travolta are up for worst actor of the decade, along with Eddie Murphy, Mike Myers and Rob Schneider. Lohan, Lopez and Madonna are nominated for the decade's worst actress, along with Mariah Carey and Paris Hilton.

Wilson said the worst-actress category probably would come down to Hilton and Lohan, while "Eddie Murphy I would guess would be pretty hard to beat as worst actor of the decade."

The ones in bold are the ones that I would like to see win the Razzies...and they're all from Disney ironically! (Maybe they'll think twice for not selling out too damn nuch)!

G.I. Joe should get Worst Picture.

I can see Will Ferrell or Eddie Murphy getting worst actor.

Maybe Sandra Bullock may win Worst Actress for All About Steve. It will be a simular thing with The Blind Side / All About Steve and Halle Berry with Monster's Ball / Catwoman.

I've heard nothing but horrible things about "Old Dogs", so I won't be surprised if it wins. "G.I. Joe" was pretty bad too. I'm actually surprised Channing Tatum isn't nominated for Worst Actor.

As for Worst Actress...I hope Beyonce "wins".

It was horrible.

In my opinion the only good thing about it was Joseph Gordon-Levitt as "The Doctor". I just loved his appearance and voice.

I'm surprised Did You Hear About The Morgans didn't get more nods. It looked beyond awful, and has a horrendous rating on IMDb.

I'm glad someone is recognizing what terrible actors the Jonas Brothers are. I wish Disney would recognize it and cancel their TV show. Musicians should stick to music and leave acting to actors.

glad to see there is one awards ceremony that doesn't buy into the whole 'new moon' hype.

i also thought the streetfighter movie, legend of chun li and remake of fame should've been on the list as well.

Despite people's obsessions with that movie (and franchise), it really does seem awful and poorly acted.

i never understood all the hype- only reason girls like it is because it has robert pattinson and taylor lautner in it.

it is like a supernatural movie targeted and aimed at the teen girls demographic.

I agree, but I doubt any of the nominees would show up? I mean can you imagine the acceptance speeches? "Thank you for billing me as the worst actor/actress this year. I worked hard for this achievement!"

In the history of the Razzie Awards only three people have personally accepted the award at the ceremony.

1. Paul Verhoeven accepted for Worst Director and Worst Picture for Showgirls (1995).

2. Tom Green accepted for Worst Actor, Worst Director, Worst Picture, Worst Screen Couple, and Worst Screenplay for Freddy Got Fingered (2001).

3. Halle Berry accepted for Worst Actress in Catwoman (2004).

Honorable Mention - Though he was not involved with the movie actor Robert Conrad accepted the Razzies for Worst Director, Worst Picture, and Worst Screenplay for The Wild Wild West (1999) because he hated the film.

Also, these people have accepted their Razzie awards but not at the actual ceremony.

- Bill Cosby requested by mail his award for Worst Picture, Worst Screenplay, and Worst Actor in Leonard Part 6 (1987).

- Tom Selleck accepted his award for Worst Supporting Actor in Christopher Columbus: The Discovery (1992) on "The Chevy Chase Show".

- Razzie Award founder John Wilson presented Brian Helgeland his award for Worst Screenplay on The Postman (1997) in his Warner Bros. office.

- Razzie Award founder John Wilson presented JD Shapiro his award for Worst Screenplay on Battlefield Earth (2000) on radio program "Drastic Radio With Mark Ebner."

- Ben Affleck was presented his award for Worst Actor in Gigli, Paycheck, and Daredevil (all 2003) on "Larry King Live".

Oh God, that movie was awful. Channing Tatum was so freaking wooden...

They really have to stop hiring him.

And once again, I'm going to defend Land Of The Lost.

It's very underrated. Granted, it's not up there with Will's other movies, but it's not that bad.

Musicians should stick to music and leave acting to actors.

I don't know, I think Will Smith isn't doing too bad of a job, he's better than most "actors".

I also think Barbara Streisand is a decent actress.

I agree. Look at the original series it's based on, I love the Land of the Lost series, but it oozed cheese...what exactly were people expecting?
