Which characters do you love the best?

Diane will always be my favorite character on Cheers, but since she left, Sam lost his touch. Carla is probably my favorite in the seasons 6-11, but Diane is still tops. (Mostly because I was named after her and Juliana, Shelley Long's daughter, is one of my best friends in high school)

I agree, Diane was always the best. But I think that my favorite character after Diane left, if I had to choose, would be Frasier or Lilith. I loved those two. They were really funny, especially Frasier. Some of the things that he came out with were classic.

rebecca was cute, but diane was better. uh, me = 1/3 carla (the guyz!), 1/3 rebecca (the bad luck w/ guyz!), and 1/3 diane (the grades in school!)

SAMMY AND DIANE,and i also really loved coach,woody was a nice replacement though,and i thought norm and carla were good suppotong characters,but to many shows were about them though later on,although i liked sam alot,i didn,t like him as much as in the early days because they dumbed him down alot,Sam did not come across as being dumb in the early episodes,but it was nice that they made his unacadamic jock image to match dianes intellectuallizm,but him he became more of a vague and background character in the end,he had more humor and wit earlier on i think though,but he was still a great tv character in the earlier shows,Long live sam and diane

My favorite character is Woody and during the Coach years it was coach. I like woody just a little bit more. My close second is a tie between Sam and Norm.

i liked rebecca. everyone says she was a bad replacement for diane, but think about it, rebecca got some of the best plots and some funny jokes. diane got some good lines, a relationship with sam, carla's wrath, and people still mentioned her name when she left. rebecca was just, funny. i guess i like rebecca and diane the same. me= diane. i am such a brainiac cheerleader!

Lilith is totally my fave character! Bebe just rocks... she's hilarious... definitely one of my favorite performers of all times! Sammy and Diane would come in second though... :-D

:) Diane will always be number one for me. But after she left Lilith and Frasier became my favorites. I agree when you say that Sam lost his magic when Shelley left.

yeah frasier and liliths realationship made up somewhat for the magic that was gone when diane left,I enjoyed watching them,unlike most of the characters i think,they evolved alot after diane left and became the most interesting characters,at first when frasier came into cheers I thought he was boring,but then they turned him into an interesting guy and adding bebe to the show as lilith and giving frasier a girlfriend more like him(i never did like frasier and diane together)was definitly a bonus to the show,Frasier and lilith were a great nerotic and uptight couple

I like Frasier and Lilith the best. They are really funny characters. Carla and Rebecca are cool too. I had to say I liked Coach more than Woody. Diane is a good character. Norm and Cliff are too. Sam is ok.
