View Full Version : Best Wings character Chocoholic 12-05-2001, 08:11 PM This is a poll for Best Wings character. Brian and Antonio are my favorites. Central Perk 04-05-2003, 01:30 PM My favorites are Joe and Casey. However, I do like a lot of the other characters too. Scorpio1187 04-05-2003, 02:44 PM I have to say that Lowell is easily my favorite!:D Tuesday Weld 04-05-2003, 05:19 PM That's difficult to answer - I like Joe,Brian,Lowell,Antonio and Roy best,I guess, but the others added to the show, too. blackbeard 04-05-2003, 05:39 PM Brians my favorite but why are Casey and Bud not listed? nantucket_wings 04-08-2003, 12:48 PM mines a toss up between Joe and Brian denvercenter 04-08-2003, 01:21 PM Mainly since he is always put the Hacket Brothers and Helen as a joke at his convenience. One thing that is apparent to all shows people who fly in on Sandpiper tend to fly Aeromass on the way out! Funny. Chocoholic 04-08-2003, 01:27 PM I noticed that too, Craig! dlemond 04-08-2003, 01:27 PM Brian, Lowell, and Antonio. You could start a different show with just those three. Chocoholic 04-08-2003, 01:38 PM Originally posted by dlemond Brian, Lowell, and Antonio. You could start a different show with just those three. Yeah, they should have had a spin-off with those guys. denvercenter 04-08-2003, 01:42 PM Originally posted by Snoopy Yeah, they should have had a spin-off with those guys. Both Frasier and Wings were spin offs from Cheers right! Seems that way with the apperences of guest on the shows. Chocoholic 04-08-2003, 01:58 PM Frasier is a direct spin-off of Cheers. Wings was created by a couple of people who worked on Cheers and I think they shared some of the same writers, but Wings was not a spin-off. David Angell, who was one of the co-creators of Wings and Frasier, died in the World Trade Center atttacks :crying: I love Wings and Cheers, but I never could get the appeal of Frasier. denvercenter 04-08-2003, 02:03 PM Originally posted by Snoopy Frasier is a direct spin-off of Cheers. Same for Wings, Cheers and Frasier. Never knew that about David Angell! Sad to hear about.:( flutterby01 04-12-2003, 02:48 PM My favorites were Lowell, Antonio, and Helen. nantucket_wings 04-12-2003, 09:47 PM yep, I also heard about David Angell, I cried when I heard about the attacks on the WTC ... I cant believe how someone could do something so horrid like that ... there was also a woman that worked at the WTC that had the exact same first and last name as me ... :( Originally posted by denvercenter Same for Wings, Cheers and Frasier. Sad to hear about.:( Chocoholic 04-12-2003, 09:59 PM A girl I went to high school with was also killed in the WTC attacks :( I cried so hard when I heard about the attacks too. I'll never understand why some people are so heartless and do the evil things they do. AngeFaitore 11-04-2003, 03:53 PM Lowell and Brian are a tie? WOW! I saw "Hey Nineteen!" this morning and I didn't tape it :( I LOVE the part where Lowell reads a poem and he looks so handsome in the black long-sleeved T-Shirt and jeans! Does anybody have a transcript of his poem? Krista2882 11-04-2003, 11:25 PM Originally posted by AngeFaitore Lowell and Brian are a tie? WOW! I eat my lunch MEATLOAF I drink from a thermos Hot this time Ow, I burned my tongue   spunkygirl 11-05-2003, 02:17 AM For me it's a tie between Joe and Helen, but Helen is the best!!!! Crimson and Clover 11-05-2003, 05:26 AM Joe and Antonio AgtSkye 11-05-2003, 05:30 AM I find it a bit difficult to play favorites with the characters, cos I think they're remarkable in how they relate as an ensemble. But the past few months I've had a true weakness for Brian, which seems weird to me cos I never thought of him as a fave before. Lowell is def a major part of my enjoyment of the show. It just wasn't right when he left. It's all the truly cooky stuff that Brian does and says tho that gives him my current vote. I forget which early episode it was, it was when I believe Joe and Helen were trying to hook up that first time, and Brian is spying on them. He's behind the office wall, and he says something like "Pay no attention to that man behind the blinds!" L-O-Freaking-L. I think he would say anything just about. :) Anne Krista2882 11-05-2003, 01:40 PM Originally posted by AgtSkye I forget which early episode it was, it was when I believe Joe and Helen were trying to hook up that first time, and Brian is spying on them. I love that. Brian is always one of my favorite characters, but I think I like Brian best in the first 3 seasons. I just realized I never voted in this poll... But my favorite characters are Joe, Brian, and Helen. I'm liking Lowell more and more too lately. Like, last night's episode I giggled like crazy when Lowell says, "I've recently been given the opportunity to become a food... so I thought I'd run these ideas past you guys- Lowell Melt... Lowell-Kabob.. or Lowell Slaw." I love the way he said it. it was sooo funny, and then that huge grin he did after he said "Lowell Slaw". hahahaha. AgtSkye 11-06-2003, 06:11 AM Yeah, I love that part with Lowell too. I didn't know that one was on last night. I haven't seen the ep w/Brian doing Oz for a while. I thought maybe that was what he started blabbing about, but it was hazy to me. Guess I'll have to wait till the series starts over again. Anne Chad22 11-10-2003, 01:01 AM Joe. With Lowell and Antonio tied in 2nd. |
