I voted for "other", because I am going to use this post to shamelessy show you all pictures of my pet rats! I feel like doing something fancy since we have this fancy new board, and I happened to get a few shots earlier with the digital camera. Enjoy! I don't think I can put all the pics in one post, in fact I just tried that and it didn't work...so I'm gonna have to make multiple posts....

These are my rats:
Pic 1: Fatty Ratty (on the left) & Baby (on the right)

Pic 2: Rat National Pastime #1: Eating

Pic 3: Rat National Pastime #2: Bathing

And...
Pic 4: Rat National Pastime #3: Looking for Trouble

Ok, I swear I am done now! Technically, Rat National Pastime #2 is sleeping, but it's hard to get pics of them sleeping because they hide in their little hut thingy.

I hope those pics don't make this thread take a long time to load for those with slower connection speeds....if so let me know and I'll take them down.

I just wanna say that your pets ROCK Bootsy!! Have you done Christmas cards wit them?? That would be cool!

No I haven't but now that you gave me the idea I just might! Or else, like if I need to send a belated birthday card or something, I think the picture of Baby bathing would be cute, because it looks like she's ashamed or embarrased or something. :D

Bootsy, those rats are SOOOOOO cute!!!! You've made me want pet rats, lol. I don't exactly know if my mother will go for it, she'd probably scream when she sees them. (She's one of those petrified-of-rodents kinda people)

So is my mom. She thinks they're cute/pretty but she never wants to touch them or get near them, lol.

When I get back later I'll tell you a few things about my rats...in case you do ever seriously consider it....pet rats aren't for everyone but as long as you know a few things first you should be ok.

Your rats are adorable! I was just wondering, what is their lifespan and about how big will they get?
