The FOX hit reality show American Idol aired Dallas audition’s last night. Contestant Erica Rhodes was a hit with the judges. The former child actor got her start on the PBS kids television show Barney & Friends.
Rhodes, 23, is all grown up now and demonstrated a decidedly different style to Randy Jackson, Simon Cowell, Kara DioGuardi, and guest judge Neil Patrick Harris.
Dress in black leather and wielding a whip, Erica sang “Nothing Left to Lose”. Her performance earned her four yes votes from the judges and the coveted golden ticket to Hollywood. Harris was the most favorably impressed and predicted that she will do well on the show.
